Well lets's see where King Gator left off. We have had a lot of upgrades to our football team and they all look good. Chris Rainey is the real deal and will be a big help tp Mercy Percy. The offensive line is solid and the defensive line will improve. All eyes are on our secondary based on last year's performance, but I think the new Wolf Pack (the entire defensive teams new nickname) will be ready to play this year. I can see Riley Cooper (the touchdown scooper) coming out of the closet in a big way this year. With C.I. being injured and out for the year someone needs to step up and I think it will be Cooper. We'll see. The running backs look the strongest in years and that will be a big asset to TEEEEEEBBBBBBBOOOOOWWWWW. Coach Meyer wants to take some of the running away from him so he doesn't get so banged up and can be fresh throughout the season. We should have a pretty good idea of what kind of team we will have for the year after the results of the first 3 games.

We got some new stuff lined up for all you Gator Fan's that come to Gators to watch the game so make sure you get there early on Saturday August 30th. Don't forget kick-off is 12:30 p.m.

Well that wasn't too hot. Auburn was ready for us. Too many mistakes on special teams. You can see why Coach Meyer says how important special teams is. It constitutes 1/3 of the overall game. Maybe this could be a wakeup call for us going into LSU. A few years ago the Gators with Coach Zook went into Baton Rouge. We had lost a couple of games, Zook's job was on the ropes and LSU was undefeated and ranked near the top and we upset them 19-7. I was there as that was my away game to fly with the team. Coach Zook asked Danny Wuerffel to speak to the team for breakfast the day of the game and to do a little prayer. Well it worked that day. I passed this on to Coach Meyer this week and maybe he will try to do the same thing. We will need something a little extra as LSU is real strong in all phases of the game.

Congrats to our Fan of the Week Tom Bradley from right here in Seminole, Fl. His Gator claim to fame was that he had the oppurtunity to kick a 40 yd. field goal at Florida Field for his daughter who even held the ball for him. Gator Trivia was won by Team URG8RB8 (you are gator bait) and guess the points $100.00 was won by Angela Munson. This week we will be giving away some tickets to Gator Growl for our homecoming during the Vandy game, along with some Bucs Tickets also. Well I gotta get going as I need to gather up my MOJO stick, get it all rubbed up and ready for LSU as I have been invited to fly with the team to this weeks game. I guess the University felt that maybe we could use a little MOJO for this game so I get to go back again. The best way for a Gator fan to go into Coon Ass territory is with a police escort with the team. I think the only thing they know how to do there is to shoot the "One Eye". It is always good to get a real wake up call and this last Saturday was a close one. I know Coach went to the offense at the end of the game and told them that you guy's have to run the clock out as I don't want our defense back out there. And guess what? They did exactly what he told them. That is a beginning of a championship team. We need to keep it rolling. Everyone will be gunning for us and don't think Auburn won't be ready.

Gators was hopping, even though it was a early game we filled up and the overflow went into the big tent, with big screen T.V. and Mixing Gator our live DJ keeping things pumped up. We will be having the tent open for the rest of the season and King Gator will be down there for a couple of games (FSU and SEC if we get there ). Congrats to the following winners: Mary McDonald for KG's Trivia, Denise Webb for Fan of the Week, Shane T. Hill for last weeks Fan of the Week, Happy B-Day to Holly again. JR. Gator set a new record with the ladies singing " We Are The Boys" behind the Saloon bar with 47. Seacoast Airlines showed up and gave away a round trip ticket to Key West from St. Petersburg/Clearwater airport. They will be back again this weekend. They are a new airline starting up. Only 80 minutes to Key West. Also for the first time a fan won a Queen Gator autographed purse and gator from the Queen herself, Mrs. Rice. I can tell there are not many of those around. So get there early next week and try to get your's as it will be a full house and the game has been moved to prime time ESPN 8:00 pm kickoff. Also since it is a late game we are going to set up a couple of Prime Rib carving stations and feature our famous Prime Rib with a baked potato and all of the fixin's. We thought this would be a good idea to get some meat and potatoes into our Gator Bellies so we will all be able to last for the whole game to cheer out Gator's on to victory. Well Fans that was some show put on by the Tebow/Harvin combo. They both look like Heisman Trophy caliber players, especially if they both keep playing like that. If Tebow can continue making plays like that and keep the defense guessing who knows how far the Gators can go this yearas long as our defense shows up. That was some offensive power show. Gators was rocking and it all got started with the annual SMASH,TRASH,CRASH the car. King Gator and his cohorts absconded this car from the Tenn. Chancellor's garage a couple of weeks ago and secretly shipped it to Treasure Island so we could dispose of it properly. Congrats to Lisa Nolan as she blasted the car so hard withthe sledge that she broke it and we had to get to the nearest Home Depot to get the bashing back on track during the pregame. Junior Gator has started his new One on One interview and it went real well so it will be a pregame feature from now on. We will be asking fans to come on up and talk Gator Football with JR. We also will continue with the expansion of the tent at the west end to help accommadate late arrivals. You can join Mixxin Gator our DJ down there along with King Gator and Junior Gator beginning 2 hours before kick-off. JR broke his 3rd quarter We Are The Ole Boy's Of Florida ladies sing-a-long record(of course that is unofficial until we review the video tape to verify the head count) behind the Saloon bar with 35. We had to chase our great bartenders out to make room. Our next game will be a real test to see if we can stay focused as Mississippi is a descent team but not in the same league as LSU. If we can keep on track the upcoming matchup with LSU will be one of the games of the year to watch in college football. King Gator is working on a Special Event for the FSU game. It has something to do with a DROP, FLOP, and POP. Stay tuned for upcoming details. Gotta go so like King Gator says: "YA GOTTA GO TO GATORS"

Look out SEC here come the GATORS! We open up our defense of the SEC crown next week with Tennessee. Our victory against Troy didn't come out unscathed as we had a couple of injuries. Caldwell and James being the most significant. Hopefully they will be able to bounce back.

We had an electric crowd for Troy. JR. Gator was able to set a new record for the ladies singing We Are The Boys behind the main Saloon bar with 27 ladies participating. Also our Fan of the Week for opening game was Dennis Shaeffer. He was the first one in and the last one out during our victory against W. Kentucky. Thanks to all of the fans that stopped by King Gator's Bead Boy stand and donated money in exchange for some of those unusual beads. Rumor has it he may be back for Tenn. Speaking of Tenn. we have a few things lined up for pregame. 2 hours before kick-off the first keg of beer is on me in the big tent on the east end of Gators along with our traditional SMASH, CRASH, and TRASH the Tennessee car. Come out early and help us decorate with proper game day slogans so we can set up for you fans to bash the car to oblivion.

Looks like it may be a shootout at the OK Corral unles Coach Strong can get his defense to play a full game. We should win this game as we have much more firepower than Tenn. Congratulations to the winner of our Fan of the Week John Reese, he was nonstop cheering right up there with KG. We will probably let him take the first swing at the Tennessee car this Sat. ONE DOWN 11 TO GO! TROY STATE NEXT

Well for beginners not too bad. Sure would have liked to played the last few minutes to get the young guys some more playing time. Who says TEBOW can't throw. I think Coach Meyer wanted to put those rumors to bed and he sure did. Tebow finished with the 2nd best passer rating in the nation in 1A behind Brian Brohm of Louisville. We sure have a lot of offensive weapons. Defense does need some help and they had better get organized to get ready for Tenn. but Troy is next and they are no slouch.

I was a little confused when I saw # 12 on defense but evidently there are 2 or 3 duplicate #'s on the roster. Joe Haden and Johnny Brantley both wear #12, both are true freshman. Look this week for Coach to get Fayson and Riley Cooper more involved. Congrats to D.S. our secret fan of the week. He/She will be announced @ this weeks game. He/She was the first one there and the last one out. I will have our P/A system glitches worked out. No more feed back. You got to let the King talk to the fans and get them oiled up for the action. If you weren't there this past week you missed King Gator presenting Junior Gator with a authenic Florida Gator football jersey with the entire coaching staff autograph's. To say the least JR was very excited and his award is well deserved. Don't miss his pre-game show and all of his predictions. King Gator here to tell you that I can't wait for some football. All indications are that we will be right there with the rest of the pack but for us it is just a little more special as we are the defending National Champs and as you know they all will be gunning for us. When Coach Meyer visited Gators oveR the Memorial weekend with his entire staff for King Gator's Annual Coaches Party he was very excited about the new class coming in and felt that he will be able to put up a good team with a lot of new faces and to follow in the footsteps of last years National Champs.

We have a great amount of special activities lined up for this year such as Our Fan of the Week, JR. Gator's pre-game show and predictions, Gator Trivia, introducing Miss Gators Bikini contest winner during the Fla. vs. Troy Sept. 8, Sept. 15 FLAvsTENN. Kick the Keg 1st. Keg FREE! under the Big Tent along with our annual "Smash-Bash-Trash" Tenn. car. Auburn (SKIN THE CAT) Sept. 29. LSU paint your game day face so while the King is away you all will play(I'm flying with the team to Baton Rouge, last time I was there with the team was when Coach Zook beat'em for their onl;y loss of the year 19-7, so Coach Meyer wanted to keep the winning streak going.) Hopefully we can put a damper on their National Championship Title hopes. Gators March To The FINAL FOUR Again ! ! ! !

How about them GATORS. We are in the FINAL FOUR for the 2nd year in a row. They have not seen that since Duke way back in 95 I think. Gators was rocking Saturday afternoon when we put a licking on Oregon. If we can get by UCLA we might have a rematch with Ohio State if they can get by Georgetown. We'll see. This Saturday we are already preparing for a big crowd of Gator fans. We will not be taking reservations. It will be first come first serve. We will probably put up the jumbo TV on the east deck like we had for the football champioship game and open up the big top on the west end. We will have all of the pregame festivities and the half time show. Junior Gator, Senior Gator, Princess Gator, Photo Gator, IntoxiGator, Queen Gator, Mama Gator, 727 Gator, Huffy Gator, Chili Gator, Grillin Gator, Insti-Gator and me King Gator will all be there game day so come on down to Gators on the Pass at Johns Pass Treasure Island and have some fun and watch us try to RUIN a BRUIN ! ! ! and remember like King Gator says: YA GOTTA GO TO GATORS ! ! !

Billy Ball SEC Championship/March Madness

Well Gator Fans it has been a while since I have done my blog. It took me that long to just recover from the National Chompionship run. If you missed the Duneidin Mardi Gras Parade this last Tuesday a week ago WOW was it fun. The Pinellas County Gator Club joined King Gator in the parade for a raucos evening. The crowd was ten deep on the parade route and rowdy. We can't wait to do it again. We were asked to participate in the upcoming Fun and Sun Parade in Clearwater in May and along with the Festival of States Parade in April in St. Petersburg. Looking forward to those.

Hopefully if we can get our B-Ball team out of their current slump we should be able to make another run for a 2nd National Championship. We play our last game of the season against Kentucky on Sunday March 3rd. Then we move into the SEC Championship the following week. Stop by during any game and check out King Gator. I'll be there in all of my regalia to help cheer our favorite team along. We will have game day specials and lots of giveaways.
We are in full swing for Spring Break so be sure to stop in as Bikini season is getting ready to get into full swing. Be sure to check out our Miss Hawaiin Tropic Bikini contests beginning in mid to late March. Coming soon at the very East end of Kingfish Wharf is Marlin's Dockside located at John's Pass Marina. Watch for it.

BCS National Chompionship Jubilation Continues!

What can I say. We are still on cloud 9 after that Chomping of the Big Ten. I have had people contact me from all over the U.S. about seeing King Gator and Gators Cafe and Saloon on National T.V. Thanks to Fox Sports Network they had us splashed all over. I guess we were the only ones in Gator Nation that had a pre-victory parade. Check out www.gatorscafe.com and kinggator.com (this site) for all of the latest pictures of game day. We will continue putting up pictures plus we will have a video of game day at Gators thanks to Multi-Media Inc. and Jack Vorshadt and his crew, coming out shortly. I guess in the morning the Gators basketball team will be ranked No. 1 in the Nation for the second time this year. It sure is great to be a Gator.

Now that football is over until we get to the annual Orange and Blue game, which by the way will be April 14, we'll be moving into Billy-Ball. During all broadcast Gator basketball games we will be featuring buckets of beer specials and 25 cent wings. So get your Ass to the Pass and get your fill of Gator Basketball.

We still have Champions Again T-shirts and posters available on our web site to purchase. We will also be coming out with some additional collectables from King Gator. Keep an eye out for them we'll be having a lot of fun with it.

Spring break is just around the corner and we got a lot of neat things planned. Great entertainment, great weather all overlooking beautiful John's Pass so like King Gator says:

That's right folks that was a real Chompionship in Glendale huh? We gave those Big Ten boys a BUZZ SAW FROM THE SEC. All I can say is was total bedlam at Gators last night. We were packed at kickoff and thought we had our hands full when they returned the kick for a T.D. I leaned over to my buddy Dr. Richard Gelder and whispered in his ear that Ohio State just might have shot there wad. We'll see how good we really are because if we can take the ball right down the field on them with our first possesion and score we will be just fine, and boy were we.

The fans started to arrive by 3 in the afternoon and were there in time to see King Gator arrive leading the parade from downtown Treasure Island followed by our Grand Marshall Coach Jimmy Collins, Queen Gator, Princess Gator, Marlin Gator, Senor Gator, Photo Gator , Vicki Gator and the rest of fans.

I would like to thank everyone that helped put our show on, the mgmt and the entire staff at Gators, along with the cooperation of the City of Treasure Island, our Police department, Treasure Island Chamber of Commerce, and the volunteers, and the cooperation of our residents for putting up with any inconvenience that they may have encountered during game day. It was a great day for the University of Florida and for our great state of Florida to bring home a National Championship and to be the first major college in the nation to win not only a football Championship but a basketball one too in the same year. Well it's the day before the big game and our game day preparation is moving along very well. Friday we expanded our Circus tent on the west side by 40 %. It is massive! The Scot Brantley Show Friday afternoon was great. We had our parade Grand Marshall 96 Championship defensive Coach Jimmy Collins along with 96 Coach Carl Franks on the radio with Scot. We had call-ins from past Florida greats Lawrence Wright, Chris Doering, John Brantley and a live update from Glendale, Arizona from Coach Meyer's wife Shelley. The BCS clothing booth was open and going strong. Be sure to check out King Gator's Champions Again T-shirt and full color poster. You have to look closely as it depicts all of our SEC wins along with one additional potential victim. We put up a jumbo T.V. on the east deck 12 by 18 feet. That area will be open seating. This morning some crazy Gator Fans have been sighted in Johns Pass in front of Gators painting one of the barges (that is building the new bridge) our favorite colors orange and blue. Come down and check it out. The Sports Animal radio show with Ron Diaz and Ian Beckles will be broadcasting LIVE from Gator's Monday morning 9 AM to 12 NOON along with the Scot Brantley show on ESPN at 4 to 7 PM. Coming out of retirement and Sitting in for Scot will be special guest Nancy Dunellen (The Sports Babe). The parade will start at 5 PM from Middle Grounds Grille with King Gator, Queen Gator, Princess Gator, Junior Gator, Elvis Gator, Senior Gator, Photo Gator, along with all of the rest of our faithfull Gator Fans. Since Jan 8 just happens to be Elvis's birthday we only thought it would be fitting that Bruce Nye (The Elvis Guy) put on a little pre game show for us. We also have made arrangements to have Elena Marrero (a past Florida Grad and who has sung for the Tampa Bay Lightning) to sing our National Anthem pre-game, We Are The Ole Boys of Florida and the Florida Alma Mater. This will be some show. We ask all of you fans to have patience when you get to Gators game day. We have taken a lot of reservations and we have made plenty of room for everyone, and we will do the best to accommadate all of you. When you arrive game day please claim your seats immediatley. For the seats in King Gator's Swamp and Saloon use the main entrance street side and proceed to the 2nd level. For King Gator's Tent please use the main entrance that is 100 feet to the west along the sidewalk steetside, which is next to the BCS T-shirt booth. The lower level in the main bar area and the East Deck ground level is open seating where the Jumbo TV is. We will have 8 full service bars and 6 beer tubs set up around the property. If you need any information or have a problem just ask for a manager, security guard, or your server and we will assist you in helping you all out. BCS King Gator Tailgator Update

All I can say is I hope out football team plays Ohio State like our basketball team just did! Wow was that some show last Saturday. We will have the Scot Brantley Show WHBO 1470 AM here on 1/5/07 with Coach Jimmy Collins who was a defensive coach on the 96 Championship team. I am also trying to set up a call in with Coach Meyer or from one of his assistants to give us a live update from Glendale that day. On Game day we will have the Sports Animal WDAE 620 Am Ike and Ivan 9:30 a.m.-12 again with Coach Jimmy Collins along with John Brantley who's son Johnny just recently announced that he has changed his mind about going to the University of Texas and has verbally commited to be a Gator with Coach Meyer. Tune in to get all the details of of how we were able to get the McDonalds 4-star All America to come to Florida.

The Dixie Hollins High School Marching Band will be here game day for our parade and tailgator. We have also secured the RED ANGEL to do our flyover. We are still looking for someone to sing our National Anthem. E-mail me if you all know somebody that would sing it for us. Outside of Glendale, Ben Hill Griffen Stadium and the O'Connell Center we want to have the largest Florida Gator Tailgator in the Nation. So come on down and join me "King Gator" for the best party around. When we win you will be able to get something at Gator's after the game that no one else will have outside the city of Glendale , Arizona. Has a nice ring to it huh? That came from some of my Michigander buddies. It seems as though that's what Michigan fans chant during the game when they play Ohio State. Also rumor has it that Michigan fans have formally announced that they have changed their game day chant from GO BLUE!!!!! To GO ORANGE AND BLUE!!!!!!!!!! On another note us Gator Fans have found out that when we chow down on those Buckeye Nuts that it gives us good ruffage the next morning. Things are rolling along for game day. Things are moving along for the big game. We have just come out with a t-shirt and a poster for the game. It's CHAMPIONS AGAIN 1996-2006. Check it out. Go to our main web site www.gatorscafe.com to get all of the details.

We have a commitment for a VIG(Very Important Gator). Defensive Coach Jimmy Collins from the 1996 Championship team will be here for the game and all of the festivities. Coach Collins coaching career spans some 30 years. Starting with Greenboro Page High school in 1974 to Lee's McRae Junior College 80-81 to Appalachian State U 82-83, to Duke 83, to Jacksonville State U. 84, back to Duke under Coach Steve Sloan for 85-86. Then in 87 he was hired to stay on as coach at Duke with Coach Spurrier, then to University of Florida 1990-2001 and on to the Washington Redskins in 2002 and finally at Marshall from 04 to 06. Thru all of these positions he has been either been a defensive coordinator, defensive line, defensive linebacker or defensive secondary coach. We are looking forward to him and his lovely wife Jeri joining us. He has some great stories to tell us about Gator Football. So be sure to look him up game day. They will be in the parade as our Grand Marshall. For you Bucs fans he was Ike Hilliards coach in 96.

Hey Gator Fans!!!
We have made arrangements with Middle Grounds Grill to have our staging and parade start from their parking lot on the day of the game. We are looking for all kinds of vehicles and convertibles. If you enter the parade with your decorated vehicle it qualifies you to win the grand prize of a weekend for two at a yet to be named hotel on the beach, dinner at Gators, dinner at Middle Grounds Grill and two invites to King Gator's Annual University of Florida Gators Football Coaches Party in early May 2007.
We are getting close to announcing what marching band that will be playing at Gators for the pep rally. We also are looking for someone that can sing our national anthem. Do you all know somebody?, if so blog me or call the office at 727-367-2942. We are also expanding all of our tents east and west of gators to accommodate every body. In case of inclement weather we will be prepared.

One other thing we will have at Gators is all of the official NCAA BCS National Championship clothing and all of the sporting goods. The booth will be set up Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. This is brought to you by J.E.B. Enterprises who is one of the authorized dealers at the game in Arizona. So we will have on site what you can buy at the game.

We here at Gator Republic better known as Gators Cafe and Saloon are working feverishly on putting together King Gator's BCS Champioship Weekend. Some of the things that we are working on is a Gator Fan Parade prior to the game from downtown Treasure Island to Gator's the day of the game complete with a marching band, color guard, best decorated float or vehicle with great prizes and a King Gator Fan package that may include all or some of the following: A reduced rate 1 or 2 night stay at one of our beach front hotels, participation in the parade, pep rally, resv seating game day, commerative t-shirt, Go Gators book by Peter Golenbock, beads, food and beverage tickets plus additional tickets to our drawing at pre-game and half time which will include autographed items from Coach Urban Meyer, Coach Ray Graves, Coach Billy Donovan, Coach Steve Spurrier, Mr. 2 Bits, King Gator and many more famous Gators and or Fans. Well Boys and Girls, How about them GATORS! We are on our way to Tempe, Arizona for all the world to see. What a great game to watch this past Saturday. Sorry I couldn't blog until today but I had jumped on that shrimp boat and went on down to Key West for a little extra after game celebrating. Pregame I was a little nervous as the fans were a little thin at Gators but come to find out there was a Christmas Parade put on by the City of Treasure Island and they had all the traffic stopped for it. TIPD even helped some of the fans thru so they could get to Gators before the kick-off. That was great.

That was a exciting, well coached football game by both teams with a lot of great calls on both sides of the ball. The fake punt was a classic! Percy Harvin is something special. What a weapon. Look out Buckeyes you will have your hands full. How about the way Cornelius Ingram has come along. Looks like Leak has another go to guy to go along with Bubba Caldwell and Dallas Baker the Touchdown maker. The reaction in the big tent with King Gator when UCLA beat USC was electric, which went along with the 2nd half of our game.

We are putting together a great game day package for all you fans to enjoy at Gators for January 8. Complete details will be posted in the next couple of days. We will be taking RESV. We are going to have a PEP RALLY, we are going to expand our tent area along with going to the east end where Charlies Dock is and put up tents their that will be available for a group of 200 or so. If you know of a club or a large group that wants to have their own special viewing area we got it, along with special appearances by King Gator etc. Details will be forthcoming.

HOW ABOUT THEM GATOR'S

How Sweet it is when you can claim you beat the following Tennessee, Alabama, LSU, Georgia, Kentucky, Vanderbilt, South Carolina and FSU all in one year! A win is a win so let the BCS chips fall where they may. We are on the way to the SEC Championship. I am looking forward to a Pig Roast this Saturday pregame. It just so happens that our special for the that day is our Famous Roast Arkansas Razorback with black beans and rice and all them ssooooooeeee! extras.

Congrats to our fan of the week Brand Treadwell a 96 grad who lives right here in St. Pete. King Gator Trivia was won in the tent by Lisa Goodwin and in the saloon by Team Ferguson(for the 2nd time this year). The best decorated car was won by Dottie Miner, and the total overall points by Aaron Boynton. Good job you all. I want to thank Budweiser, Margaritaville Tequila and the Pinellas County Gator Club for all of the giveaways during the game. My arm sure is tired but I'm going to the spa to soak it so it will be ready for this Saturdays 6 PM kick-off. Pre-Game will start at 3 PM, where we are setting up a Margaritaville Tequila Bar in the tent with all of Jimmy Buffetts Famous flavored Tequila Concoctions.

We thought this would be appropriate to get us Gator Fans in the proper festive mood for the game, maybe enjoy a little Roasted Arkansas Razorback with black beans and rice check out the Fins to Right and the Fins to the Left in the Pass, while we have another Margarita because you know its 5 o'clock somewhere and we don't want to trip on a pop top or blow out a flip flop while we stomp out the Razorbacks that need a little shaker of salt to make them taste right.So when we Win We'll All jump on a shrimp boat and go on down to Key West and have a cheese Burger in Paradise and get Drunk and S----!

Annual crudge match is about to begin. Gators vs. Free Shoe U. We have got a lot going on at Gators for this one. Kick-off is high noon but we get started at 10:30 A.M. at the west end near Grillin Dan's Grille with King Gator's Tailgator. 1st keg of beer is on King Gator then the fun starts. We are taking resv for this one as I will be in the big tent as usual where you can see my infamous Seminole Cemetary. Which this year has a new addition of that offensive Wizard Jeff Bowden. We have reluctantly placed him there as all Gators fans would surely like to have him stay on to lead those Seminoles to many more TD's

Congratulations to this weeks winners: Fan of the Week Colin Racey:(who by the way has 3 kids that have or still are at Florida). Best Decorated Car: Richard Vozne and King Gator Trivia: Team 1963. Last weeks trivia was this years frosted flakes cereal box that was at the local Publix store recently. If you have one it shows the following: Coach Ray Graves being carried off the field after just defeating Alabama in 1963 at then Denny Stadium. It was Alabama's first Homecoming defeat at home as well as Bear Bryant's first. The score was 10-6 and #23 on the box was Alan Trammal along with #7 Danny Wuerrfel. Do you know who the other players were? Blog me and if you are the first ones that get them right you will win a $50.00 Gift Certificate and King Gator's Royal Seating for the SEC Championship game Saturday December 2 at Gator's. Now let's hope we win out,USC stumbles, Notre Dame fumbles and the BCS would rather see us Gator's than a rematch of Michigan/Ohio State.

How about Jarvis Moss. We have a new FREAK in town. Two blocked in in one game is awsome for one player. He should get SEC Defensive Player of the Week. The special teams sure did a nice job. We need to keep focused and win out and hopefully somebody will stumble ahead of us. Kinda of reminds me of our "96" run. We'll see.

King Gators Swamp was rocking Saturday. With a close game like that everyone was tuned to the tube. For our 3rd quarter We are The Ole Boy's Of Florida celebration, we must have set a game day record for Lady Gator singers behind the Saloon Bar. That was a great Junior Gator recruiting job. Keep it up JR.

Our Fan of the week was Betsy Summerlee of St. Pete Beach and the best decorated vehicle was Gator Bill for a great looking Ford F-250. Those Cocks weren't doing too much cockadoodle doing after the game were they? It didn't do much for style points but a win is a win. We'll take it.

This weeks game is a Pay Per View with a Noon kick-off so get your resv. and get there early for a good seat. As always we will have plenty of food and drink specials. so like King Gator says "Ya Gotta Go To Gators"

King Gator here: Well we are back to the SEC Championship. We not only beat a very good Vandy team LSU was able to help us along by beating those Vols for us. Next up is our rematch with the Ole Ball Coach Spurrier in the Swamp this Saturday. This should be a good matchup for us along with making sure our defense shows up like they have all year. If we can win out the rest of our games and somebody stumbles ahead of us we might be able to get to the National Championship game. It's a long shot but it can be done, we'll see.

In the meantime the game was a lot of fun at Gators as usual. Gary Uebechoer was our fan of the week along with his B-Day Party. The Gator Trivia winner were the Swamp Suckers and Teresa Barlow was the Gator Guess the Winner. It was a big day at Gators because immediatly following the game we had the weigh-in of our Annual Gators Suncoast Kingfish Classic Tournament. We had over 100 boats fishing with the overall winner Reel Crazy taking home $10,000.00 in cash for a 48.56# kingfish. The top lady angler Kamri Vaughn was also on the Reel Crazy and the top Youth Angler was Mike Penny on the Penny Wise. It was one of our better Tournaments and fun was had by all.

This weeks game day specials is Tasty Game Cock Wings with that famous Urban Meyer Glaze. These tasty morsels can be had thru out Gators and of course at Grillin Dan's Grille. Come join us game day, kickoff is 3:30 p.m. Get there early to get a good seat and like King Gator says "Ya Gotta Go To Gators" King Gator

Dawg Gonnit Them Gators Beat Them Bull Dawgs Again

Well we did it again to them puppy dawgs. Glad the DEFENSE showed up. I was starting to get a little nervous. I think Chris Leak learned a valuable lesson on letting Coach Meyer know when something is wrong with him. It won't be easy with Vandy like it has been in the past, but if we stay focused we should be able to get by them and move forward to the rematch with S. Carolina and Coach Spurrier.

Be sure to come to Gators this weekend to watch the game and afterwards go down to the west end and watch the weigh-in of our Annual Gators Suncoast Kingfish Classic. You will see a lot of trophy Kingfish being brought in. A portion of the proceeds benefits Big Brother, Big Sisters.

Let's hope we mow them Commodores down this weekend, and remember like King Gators says: "Ya Gotta Go To Gators"

Well that wasn't the way we planned it but sometimes you just can't win them all. We are still in a good position for The SEC just as long as we don't stumble again. Wouldn't it be great if we had a rematch with Auburn in Hot Lanta. Anyway the game was a nailbiter right to the end. That sure looked like a incomplete pass to me but you got to move on. If you were at Gators gamenight it sure was a lot of fun. The place was standing room only. We had a lot of first timers and they all said they can't wait to come back. I want to thank the certain few fans that have taken it upon them selves to help King Gator with the cheers during game day.

It was nice to see Percy Harvin back. He sure is a special player. A gamebreaker any time he touchs the ball. Deshawn Winn looked to be back also. We are gonna need these guys down the back stretch. Coach Meyer will get the players to mave forward and prepare for them Puppy Dawgs!

It will be halloween weekend for the Georgia game. Kick Off is set for 3:30 est. We will have all of our T.V.'s in place to prepare to watch the game at Gators and join me at the 2nd Worlds Largest Cocktail Party. We will have the big tent set up for the overflow.

Jeremy Calvin was our fan of the week. He is a true blue Gator fan thanks to Junior Gator and his Gator teachings and converting him over to the proper team. Ruth Dopkin was the best bedazzled vehicle. L.T. Gator has been appointed the official judge from now on of best decorated car. You can't miss him with his neon orange hat out there parking your cars game day. The football toss was won by Troy and King Gator's trivia by Swamp Dave.

This is a off week for our football team. It sure is needed. I will be back in a couple of days so in the meantime like King Gator says:
